The lights are gorgeous at night! I actually think I’m going to leave the boxes while, though, so nobody accidentally bumps their head on one!

I got estimates to replace the decking on our existing wood deck from three deck companies with great reputations. Frankly, I was impressed by all of them but Sean from American Deck & Patio really stood out. When he inspected my deck, he talked me through all the things he looks for when considering work on an older deck. He listened to what I wanted and discussed my options in a very straightforward and down-to-earth way. While I was interested in composite material to replace my wood decking, there was no pressure to choose one material or option over another, just the pros and cons of each one. I left that meeting with complete confidence that if I selected Sean and his team, they would do a great job.

I accepted Sean’s very competitive price and he and Mia kept me completely informed about every step as the job was scheduled and completed. His team was great, too. They got the job done a day early and his foreman even waited for me to get home one day to make sure my hot tub was positioned exactly right—he even helped me reconnect the wiring—something I had not asked for or expected him to do.

As expected, the work was excellent. My new Trex decking looks fantastic. I could not be happier with both the end result and the way the entire project was carried out. I highly recommend American Deck & Patio and would use them again with complete confidence.

Sean was chosen for my project because he presented himself very professionally. It was evident I was dealing with a company that is dedicated to making quality decks at a competitive price. Some companies quoted less but I feel I got what I paid for and that is mainly no headaches. The workers did a great job- no shortcuts were taken and any issues were taken care of without hesitation. Of all types of contractor work I have ever had on my home, I am most happy with American Deck.

Too often I have found contractors to over promise and under deliver, however I highly recommend American Deck due to their exceptional service and professionalism. My deck, which is all composite, is beautiful and the best-looking deck in the neighborhood. Sean & crew also installed a beautiful custom patio, retaining wall and fence for my backyard. I have had drainage issues for years and with Sean’s improvements, I am happy to say the drainage issues are gone.

In a word: quality. We hired American Deck to install a backyard deck and cabana sitting area. The shape of the house, however, made this a challenging project. Sean Conway and his team were professional and creative in coming up with a beautiful solution to fit our needs at a reasonable price.
